The Anacortes-Sidney, B.C., ferry route will resume service on March 30, the Washington State Department of Transportation announced. The first trip, which will leave Anacortes at 7:45 a.m. and arrive in Sidney at 10:50 a.m. on the 30th, will include celebratory marching bands, town criers and a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
In other marine transportation news, the spring ferry schedule will also resume inter-island service between the San Juan Islands and restore eight hours of Monday through Thursday midday service between Anacortes and the San Juans.
