Another N100 is in the record books!

The 2014 Northern Century Regatta is complete!

This Salish Sea demonstrated that she was firmly in charge of course conditions and made it challenging with light winds combined with not-so-light currents. Four boats completed the the full 100 mile course and one boat the "Half Century" 50 mile excursion.

Top honors go to Lawn Dart, a Santa Cruz 50 skippered by Bill Allen.  Making the circuit in 21 hours, 30 minutes and 19 seconds made Lawn Dart 1st overall and 1st in the fully crewed division.

Runner up was Time Bandit, skippered by Bob Brunius.  Their elapsed time of 23:42:29 put them second overall and 1st in the double handed division and also their fleet.

Next across the line was AYC's own Scott Ellis with Hijinks.  Completing the route in 29 hours, 14 minutes and 16 seconds made them third overall, second in the double handed division and 1st in their fleet.

Fourth overall and second in the double handed division as well as their fleet was Cinco de Mayo with John Peterson in charge.  They made the trek in 29 hours, 23 minutes and 30 seconds.

Finishing the 50 mile course in 23:41:34 for the number on honors was PeaceKeeper under the command of Wayne Lytle also sailing under the AYC burgee.

Thanks to all that participated and all the volunteers that made this regatta happen!  We hope to see you all again next year!
